Founded in September 1909, Weril brings its origins from Austria. The
manufacture, which started totally handicraft, followed the main
international trends.
But Pedro Weingrill discovered the need to increase productivity, cutting
costs and making the instruments available to a larger number of people.
That's when the philosophy of making music something popular started and
has continuously followed Weril's history. Today it is the largest music
instrument and the only wind instrument manufacturer in Brazil. More than
2,000 instruments are dispatched monthly from its industrial plant in a
42,000 m2 area in Franco da Rocha/SP, to supply all of Brazil and other
demanding markets such as Switzerland, Germany and the US.
Investing large sums of money in the modernization and automation of its
production, as a result of the permanent commitment with quality, Weril
takes active part in different initiatives linked to music initiation and
the spreading of music practice throughout the country.
